Our Story

BLH Farm is a certified USDA Organic mushroom and microgreen farm in central Missouri, a few miles west of Columbia. We grow gourmet varieties — oyster, shiitake, lion's mane, maitake, and golden enoki mushrooms, alongside a rotating selection of microgreens — harvested to order for chefs and home cooks across the state.

Rooted in soil health

Everything we grow starts with the soil. We build ours by hand — hot aerobic compost and bokashi fermented from local food waste, cover crops, and permanent raised beds. It's slow, regenerative work, and it's the reason our harvests taste the way they do.

Certified, and proud of it

We're certified USDA Organic and MOSA certified, and we hold a current USDA M-GAP audit. No shortcuts, no synthetic inputs — just clean, organic growing from spore to shelf.
